About the event

We are thrilled to be able to offer this Stress Management Day Retreat in the beautiful and relaxing garden at Hands of Hope.

Join Caelia and Sonja for a day focusing on helping you to relax, and giving you handy hints and tips to take away with you to bring into your every day lives.

We'll start with a welcome breakfast and an intro to the day, followed by a gentle yoga session - suitable for all levels of experience - and designed to support the two sides of your nervous system to help promote a sense of peace and calm our stresses and anxieties.  If we are lucky with the weather, we'll do this outside, surrounded by nature.

We'll step out into the beautiful market garden and collect some ingredients to use in our delicious and nutritious lunch - which we will prepare in the new Cook School.  Together we will make a meal using ingredients desligned to support the nervous system and help promote calm in our world.  Along with the cookery session, led by Sonja, you'll be given useful information about diet and ingredients which can be brought into your meals to help support ongoing wellbeing.

We'll eat together (hopefully outside) for a wider discussion, and opportunity to share and ask questions, about lifestyle and diet to help us menage with stressful situations, and busy lives.

After lunch, we'll take a gentle stroll through the grounds at Hands of Hope before returning to a session on self-care, where you'll be shown massage techniques and pressure points that you can use to continue the calming experience after you have gone home.

We'll finish with a guided meditation, ensuring you leave us feeling relaxed and refreshed and ready for the world.

All food will be vegetarian - we will do our best to accommodate dietary requests, but cannot guarantee this unless we are notified in advance.
